I used to say stuff like that. "The Redskins weren't bad this year. They lost 7 of their 10 losses by 3-5 points." Then I realized that most games are lost by less than 1 possession.
That's why I bitch about the refs so much. One bad PI call could lose an entire game.
If we could go back, I wouldn't want him on the Redskins again. We still joke about punt returners running sideline to sideline as pulling a Randle-El.
That said, he seemed like a good dude. Sucks to hear about his issues from playing the game.
Just watched the games. Wow, Alliance just rolled this tournament.
In game 2, that Chen troll net at like 21 minutes to cancel the TP was so money (for the 5 man wipe).
Uh, not sure about going for it on you own 25 or whatever. Pretty much game over if you don't make it.
Probably should've been a penalty on 3rd down though.
I really dislike the Packers this season for some reason. I think it's because teams that get by on bullshit lucky plays annoy me. Like Seattle.
I think McFatty may be part of it as well too.
With the Chiefs out, I'm down to rooting for the Cardinals or Panthers. Pretty much hate everyone...
Awesome, I forgot that it was coming out. Thanks for the reminder!
Edit: Fucking dead! Stray cat Morty and Mr Poopy Butthole being the tutorial guy...hilarious.
Damn, sad to hear about Gravy. I had been avoiding that thread for a while. I think he must have just been waiting for the Chiefs to finally win a playoff game to finally let go.
I'm not sure why they seem so reluctant to eject players the past few seasons. Maybe the new CBA had something in it?
The fact that there were zero ejections in the Bengals/Steelers game is just ridiculous. I feel like they need to start doing it though to send a message. And I say that as...
I've always hated yards per game used as a metric for a defense. It doesn't reflect the circumstances of the game. Like when a team is blowing out another they'll play soft defense and allow more yards.
