About the only positive I can see from Dallas winning this week...long as we take care of business too it virtually locks the Giants out of the division title (barring them winning their last 2 and us tying Dallas in 2 weeks).

True, but it's about the only thing they have in common with Johnson. Combined that entire group has 2 playoff victories, and not a one of them accounted for enough wins as a starter on their own to win a division title, while Johnson did it twice.

I remember the Skins last division title...Brad Johnson threw for 4000 yards that year, 24 TD's 13 picks. Pretty solid numbers back then. Then Jeff George happened. No one ever would confuse Johnson with "elite" but he wasn't bad by any stretch either.

Looks like the Rick Reilly article from earlier in the year. He has a super hard on for Luck. He does throw a higher percentage of shorter passes, but does a better job of leading receivers and the offense is designed to get a lot of YAC...a major reason we went after Garcon in free agency...

Apparently the only other QB's to post multiple sub 1.0 QBR games over the past 5 seasons were Mark Sanchez and John Skelton. Flacco better go nuts in the playoffs or he might not get that extension offer.

It's going to be fucked either way. I can imagine plenty of scenarios when a guy is going to catch a 60 yard bomb for an easy TD where a defender would just trip him up on purpose knowing you'd rather take 15 yards than giving up the TD (or X amount of yards > 15)

If there was some way to limit when it's a spot foul (because there are definitely times when I think it should be a spot foul when it breaks up an obvious catch that would be a big play in a game) that would be great, but anything you leave up to a judgement call is going to be fucked up plenty...
