Wording on holy strike suggests the minions only attack when you do. I like new static strike, damage effectiveness is nothing extraordinary. Stand a bit back Smite is better. Wonder how buffs will stack and fall off. RoW is a great starter weapon for most strike skill

I don't have a way to confirm this, but it's definitely possible to attack a pack that has no ailments and cause the larger AOE. My theory is that as your strike swings through the pack, the first targets hit will splash with the normal AOE onto targets you haven't hit yet with that same swing...

I don't know how reliable that is. As in, I'm not necessarily doubting you, but that I've never used it so I have no feel for its reliability. Shield slot is a lot to give up. Even if reliable, I'm not sure sap is worth Svalinn or double foulborn Oppressor.

During Phrecia, I bought a Fidelitas' Spike for leveling. Easily lasted until I switched to RWoE.

Next mystery: how does it interact with combat focus? If ignore, it'll be about 50% more damage than a typical ele hit setup. If affected by combat focus, the best I've gotten is ~90%. Still might be worth it for consistent cold damage and far less ramp time on single target.

Ele hit bans damage of the types not picked. No Heatshiver or small amounts of +fire for ignite, or small amounts of phys for bleeds(crit node in lower right).
