The Start button is greyed out for me. I find it funny when people, like me, mention that NA/EU got the shitty end of SE's server allocation and the people who defend SE say "Oh its just because there are so many more people connecting to the NA/EU datacenter"...bleh?

Sorry for the dumb question, but where do you place the SweetFX folder / dlls in the Benchmark tool program folder? In the main folder, or in the Game folder? Hasn't been working at for me so far.

Question about the Nexus 7, if anyone happens to know. I see that it has WiFi, but would it be possible to use a wired connection with it? Is there some USB connector that I could use to plug the 7 into my non-wireless router? (yes, I guess I am in the stone-age by not having a wireless router).

I did the pre-order through SE, got the code instantly. No email yet saying I can go register that code. Tried their pre-order site again, got the same error message, but this time when I checked the account page, it shows that FFXIV is finally registered. Dunno if that is what I need to get...

I am rather disappointed that GW2 hasn't expanded upon the main storyline (afaik) dealing with the other elder dragons wrecking stuff elsewhere. With the amount of time they have investing in putting out bi-weekly "content" updates, I'd think they could start moving us towards another dragon.

So any advice for a new player to ARR / FF in general? Since I'll going down the Pugilist / Monk route, I thought about taking up Goldsmithing / Leatherworking / Mining to craft gear, but will that gear be worthwhile? Also, default female Roegadyn look a lot like Yara Greyjoy from GoT.

Not quite, in GW2 you have an autoattack and no skill requires that you standstill. WildStar has no autoatk, which means you'll be spamming your basic attack while moving, you'll appreciate GW2s autoatk after playing this. WildStar also has attacks that require standing still, and multi-part...

WildStar's combat is no where near as refined as GW2. You can dodge via double-tap, and you can move while using some skills. Its better than WoW, but not quite as good as GW2 (yet).

Read that the dailies are on a 20hr timer, but not sure if that timer gets reset with server resets or not. Supposedly we should get a Shard from the first kill of each boss each day, guessing my timer(s) had not run out. Caved in and bought the Hulk, and he's all bouncy-smashing...

Hm, yea I heard about the Rested Xp not falling off properly, and that bug where you would either get more or less xp while killing mobs that other people were also hitting. I've been killing everything (mostly) that tries to kill me while opening each map along the way. Guess it all adds up.
