I've been slowly rewatching it since it came out on Netflix. The first 2 season are excellent and the 3rd season, while messy, is still very good. It's amazing what the network (I think it was NBC) allowed them to get away with.

That definitely sounds likely. Assuming you have the usual 4 slots for ram, you might want to try both of them at once in other slots if the individual tests in slot 2 come back good. If you access to another computer with compatible ram it would be a good idea to swap and test on both.

Next season is definitely being pushed back unless this thing blows up and is cancelled entirely.

Wouldn't hurt to try reseating it. Otherwise you'll want to pull all but 1 stick and retest to find the culprit.

I have a portable in my apartment because my windows are weird and I can't put a window unit in. It's definitely not as good as the window unit I had and louder to boot. Once it gets in to the mid 80's it can no longer keep up, but it's better than nothing.
