I loved The Departed because during the elevator scene I just started laughing out loud in the theater and everyone gasped and then started laughing at/with me.
Prestige was good. Not sure which of the twists was better.
Wildstar was originally aiming for late 2013 and, for arguably the first time for a MMO in years, decided "Hey, let's try our best to make this game NOT shit by taking time to finish it." Many people speculate Spring 2014 which I'd agree with.
Even if this game doesn't feel perfect yet (I'M...
Even with my XB1 'fanboyism' I still wouldn't purchase it on release unless there's some mega-deal. Or they add a launch game that actually matters to some one.
"Sword... on FIRE?!?! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
"Bridge....you can BREAK!??? WOOOOOOO!!!!"
"Spell...that drops..METEORS?!?!? WOOOOOO!"
"Name...your own CHARACTER?!? WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
Okay that last one didn't happen, but that dumb beav would've loved it.
I don't like a lot of the models so far, but I don't like most games models. I do like the environments, but the scale almost seems too small for an EQ game. Day/Night is cool for sure though. It pretty much means we're going to be guaranteed some sort of Kithicor type situation, in my mind.
Only what is publicly known. What that is, who knows. Many of us are in beta and basically just post generalized feelings about the games and not specifics. Though I just posted a shit ton of specifics I think they were all already known....for the most part.
I wasn't arguing about multi-classing. I can see both sides of that argument. I'm talking about people who say the graphics are bad or the character models or the fact that people won't necessarily wander aimlessly through unknown zones to get killed by a Hill Giant and lose their corpse...
This thread would be so much more constructive if people didn't see EQ through nostalgia goggles. I loved the game too, but Jesus is it outdated. You think we should go back to 2D action games because a Link to the Past ruled too?
I hope you guys get the game without auto-meditate. Just...
I love being neg repped for being a 'fanboy'. That being said:
-Combat doesn't flow right, and damage is not where it needs to be for most classes.
-Classes are rather archetypical MMO stuff. The Engineer might be fairly unique but from data hax it looks just like a class with different...
You cannot say the end game is the same as the quest hubs during leveling. You don't know what end game is like, I don't know, most of their devs truly don't know yet. You also left out the mention that end game also involves PVP which has Arena-->BG--->Warfront. The rest of the game is...
Just watched it. Decent. Definitely like they didn't make Dredd feely/emotional like they do to all original good comic book characters.
Overall besides being a complete action plot ripoff from The Raid: Redemption, it was pretty good.
People need to get off bitching about the quest leveling system. I mean I'd love to have something better, but in the end it's not going to matter that much. Unless you're the type of person who constantly makes alts because you have too much time, suck at playing your other characters, or a...
Which do I pick: Its okay, I don't like it, I hate it, I like it I'm a fag, I like it I'm a retard, I like it I'm a tranny.
Might be some slight bias in the poll formation, there, buddeh.
Whereas that is a good observation, certain things, like say the preference of a gear shift on the floor of the car versus the side of the steering wheel are very large differences that people would always have a preference for.
I wish Apple had a console too so some of the people with hate-boners for Microsoft could stick them somewhere more deserving.
I mean Jesus, Sony? You guys ever play a Sony game and not get reamed in one way or another? Good GOD.
PS4ggots.
I once watched as an entire guild got hacked by somebody. The #2 guild on our server, in fact. So I watched the person that hacked them dual box all these dudes in the Bazaar, walk them to a wall, and sit them down against it. I just watched all the transactions and figured, "Holy shit. This...
I actually am indifferent about the voxel system, but I agree. Super shiny graphics often take wayyyyy too much focus from the games creators and then such games lack good game mechanics. If EQN does the opposite and makes some graphic sacrifices to make something new, interesting, and perhaps...
It wasn't the graphics that made the game seem real. It was the fact that most of us were between 10-18 and this was the first first-person immersive online game with a 'world' you entered.
I remember physically being in that world and everything looking amazingly real, but it was because...
Woah woah woah woah... who's that little guy by Naggy's tail? Is that supposed to be some sort of drake because if iksar are now 3.5 feet tall.. I ain't cool with that.
Yeah, that's kinda the deal with me. Why argue and weigh so heavily on the relatively smaller hardware advantage PS4 has over XB1 when all the games you would play that demand high performance are going to be on PC anyways. In terms of media usage they're close, but I think 360 will have more...
Honestly there's very few console-unique games that seem worthwhile right now. And most games seem to be migrating into PC as well as PS4/XB1. Think it all comes down to who likes Halo 5 and who likes Uncharted 4, because in the end a PC will be able to play anything better than either console.
Oh, even better. The CFO of Sony cited the 80% number a week ago, but didn't say which poll. Probably because it didn't matter which poll, he was gonna get that 80% one way or another!
In the last week and last 24 it's a 2:1 ratio, which is closer. Still, of all the polls I checked for that site, most of them don't break 25k total votes, let alone 200k.
I saw that, I also saw a 100k vote poll that has PS4 at 91%. That shit ain't right.
If you look at the cities of that site every city is 74-80% in favor of PS4. Those numbers are just too peachy. Somebody somewhere is doing tinkerin'.
If PS4 outsells XB1 by 3:1 within the first 3 months...
Not as much that as my mind is boggled that essentially 10x the amount of people are supposedly buying the PS4 over the XB1. Though this is hardly a pristine polling environment, somebody else has to notice the fact that shit ain't right. Statistically, of course.
Putting PC in the poll as an option is a terribly, terribly stupid thing to do.
Personally I'm going to count each PC vote as a XB1 vote. Because, you know, Windows and stuff.
