I wasn't joking. Cupid Luna is the only 5* max with chainsaw, but her terrible weapon selection means she can't build chains like Edgar can. If you were crazy enough to grind two extra Olive TMs though, it would give you the option of a chain-building setup that isn't as fragile as a 4* max like...

Ariana is actually pretty good considering how much mag you get from her event gear. Only other unit that would be as competitive with crappy gear would probably be Xiao.

I know what you meant but you don't use her LB to cap chains, you use true shot. Her LB being higher total damage is irrelevant since it's split into 5 randomly targeted shots.

Olive's main attack is not her LB.

pure damage LBs are completely worthless to level. You only ever level up LBs that have a scaling buff or debuff attached.
