I regret touching the crafting system at all. I don't have enough stat points left to get it to 20 or whatever to be able to craft legendary items, so anything I can craft is basically trash at this point in the game. Seems way better to just ignore it entirely and use the points elsewhere...

Yea and I don't buy their numbers for a second. Depends entirely on where they test - there's areas of japan town/downtown that will send nearly any system down to 30fps for a bit.

Let's not kid ourselves here. Just because it functions doesn't mean it's "fine" - anything less than like a 1080 TI is gonna have extremely noticeable dips in to the 20-30fps area in many parts of the game.

I don't think it's a new atlas at all. It's gonna be a build your own league content type of thing where you can slot in abyss/breach/whatever and juice up the particular kind of old league content you want.

Can confirm, it was shitty Asus AI suite software. Purged it and reset windows settings and we're back in business. ~110fps with ultra everything and no rtx, 60-70 with rtx. I honestly can't tell a visual difference between non-rtx and rtx though, so I'll probably take the extra frames?

Yea something is limiting it someplace. Menus/in-game don't change the FPS at all, and I have a hard time believing it performs the same at full max settings vs minimal settings. I double checked the in-game options and FPS caps/vsync are all off, but it's like it isn't actually respecting that...

Anyone dealing with a weird FPS cap sort of issue? I'm running on a 5800x and 3090 and the FPS just seems to....never change? It runs at 60-65fps at RTX ultra 1440p, or the same 60-65fps at low and 1080p. It's like vsync is on someplace, but I can't figure out where? UI claims all that shit is...

I thought as well too upon seeing them. Each one being themes to those ancient leagues does make it seem an awful lot like they are planning on revamping/rebuilding in to them something more robust.

The experimental base types are pretty cool? The reality is though they spent way too much design time on all the heist NPCs/dialogue etc for it to ever not go core, regardless of how questionable the actual gameplay of it turned out to be.

Hmm I've been using coldsnap with sling and then just attacking with power siphon. The power charges don't really matter, but it's got better attack coverage for curse on hit application which was nice. I guess if I use frenzy for the attack and just dump cold snap I could fit in herald of ice...

I thought dots don't benefit from spell leech for life/ES? And yea discipline lol. How much reservation reduction do you need to do the 3 slinger reservations+an aura like that? Or do you drop down to 2 sling setups for frost bolt/creeping frost and start manually casting cold snap?

So what do you scale for your primary damage on the slinger setups? 6L vortex? Then creeping and frostbolt are just for freezes etc? Is there any real recovery/sustain in these setups, or are you relying largely on flasks? I assume CI doesn't work cause you can't fit determination anywhere.

This is as far as I've been able to take winter orb so far. Getting really dicey at depth 150ish currently. Mobs just stay alive for too long too be comfortable, and not sure where else I can find any more damage aside from a 6L or a crazy +gem wands dropping.
