Bought a bunch of mark 1s this morning and paused to reflect on what terrible luck I've had with them. Of the couple hundred I've opened by now, I've only had 6 epics. Of those 6, 1 was a costume. The other 5 were 2 old lace pets and 3 bovine sector recipes.

LQs are still faster, but it's nice getting a character geared out in uniques, especially if you're prestiging them. What I normally do is run LQs between the 15 minute fortune card timers. Also, MM is probably ending tomorrow around midday.

Probably me, I've been advocating Deathpriest for a while now. Looking at the latest meta snapshot from tempostorm, Deathpriest is still weak against the best deck in the meta, but strong against most of the rest of the tier 1 decks. Fast druid is the only real unknown, but I think druid is favored.

btw if you want a cheap and pretty amazing hero, pick up x-23. She's squishy like Wolverine is, but she does more damage and has a less clunky dps rotation. She's basically a strictly superior version of Wolverine, for only 200 splinters. Can't go wrong.

You may also want to choose your hero that you open them with based on what teams the hero is part of. If you open the character screen, switch from stats to bio in the upper left, scroll to the bottom to see what teams that hero is on. ATM I'm opening them with Venom since he's Marvel Knights...

Oh, thought I'd mention. Midtown fortune cards have a cooldown like splinters, think its ~15 minutes? Anyway, someone said midtown boxes can rarely drop the fortune cards, it's not rare, if you happen to be opening boxes when your cooldown is up you'll probably get a card.
