He's been groomed to be "the guy" since we took him in round 1 years back. I wish Holtby's contract had 1 more year on it to get him more than just this season in the league before he might have to fully take over, but in a backup role, at least, he's looked like the real deal.

Missed field goals are the main reason they aren't still in division hunt. Should have swept Seattle but Zeurlein choked a fairly easy kick to win the game. Also missed a long one against the Steelers that could have had them within another kick of winning the game and they turned ball over on...

Honestly if they'd been able to beat the steelers last week they'd be one game back of Titans for last spot. We all knew back end of their schedule was week, that's why they've won 4 of their last 5.

Definitely bit of a weird game. Shots on goal was only 23-22 Kings. Pretty low shot totals for both teams. Didn't help they gave them the first 3 PP's of the game and we didn't get one until 12 minutes to go in the 3rd period, but is what it is.
