NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Didn't realize how big that win Atlanta had over Seattle was until I looked at their remaining schedule. They might need that head to head tiebreaker. Minnesota, New Orleans twice, and Carolina still left to play. Tampa twice too, although those are obviously the easiest of their remaining games.

Yes we're sure. Ugly fucking win, but I'm looking at the positives. Crowder back to being who he was the last 2 years, defense didn't look like shit (although the Giants ARE shit), Doctson contributing, and we might have found a RB in Perine. 2 straight good games running the ball and he...

Typical Redskins play to the level of your opponent. I think it's hilarious how quickly we get away from attacking downfield in the passing game.

My favorite fantasy match up this week is between two guys who have Hunter Henry, Marvin Jones Jr., and Phillip Rivers all on their bench.

When you want a guy to win a fantasy match up and he has Forbath only to get dicked out of 3 points at the end due to that offsides and ensuing 1st down. Damnit.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I actually thought the 4.0 SB questline was really strong, even compared to HW...but I'll agree 4.1 was pretty soft and just more of the "after we won" shit. I hope it picks up rest of the way.

Just wouldn't be as fun without the old guild/friends to enjoy it with. God people talking about BRD brings back memories though. Fucking loved that shit back then. Probably would never have the time or patience to do as full a run as you could nowadays, but that shit was just so much fun if...

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Atlanta kind of had a couple of games there where they weren't playing at their top level. They got that razor close call against the Lions at the goal line to squeak out a win against them, then lost both Jones and Sanu to injuries during a loss against the Bills, and followed that with the...

I think Wilson doesn't get enough credit. When they show the stats of what % of the offense he is now it's crazy. That running game they used to have is loooooong gone. Wilson is the running game. It's also what makes them so dangerous when they need points quickly. Guy can eat up 20 yards...

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Not that I'm rooting for Atlanta per se...but my nightmare here would be Seattle gets a stop, then only a field goal to send to OT where Julio can get 6 more points somehow to beat me.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Please...not to Julio. Just run it, get a first down, and kneel.

That throw to Julio on 2nd and goal had my heart in my throat. Was up 15.08 to start the night, Julio had 9.2 before that pass.

I hear ya. It's hard to really bitch about the blown call b/c literally any play made over the last 6 minutes of that game and it never gets to that point...but...we were on the 34 with ~28 seconds left, well within Rose's FG range. Just one of those things where I tell myself he would have...

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

This. Buddy of mine is convinced if Eagles get home field, Saints won't be able to win outdoors in January up there...but defense and that running game travels.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Agree with Skrala on the experience factor. I see Brees and Payton being able to grind out a win. But that's as it stands right now. Could all change over last 6 games. NFC so stacked.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Report: NFL said intentional grounding call against Redskins was incorrect in final minute of loss to Saints Yup. When a loss seems like it can't get any more Redskins...it gets more Redskins.
  37. Merrith

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Heard rumor league contacted the Redskins to say they got the intentional grounding penalty wrong near the end of regulation. Kind of sucks when at that point the ball was on the 34 in a tie game with 28 seconds left. Run it once, kick a 50 yarder for the win and whatevs. Would be a dick...
  38. Merrith

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Yeah I think Eagles/Saints clearly top two, I'd almost give edge to Saints overall in NFC based on experience...but NFC might have other teams floating in there like Minnesota, Rams, Panthers, Seahawks, even the Lions potentially. NFC playoffs should be ridiculously good.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Newton's accuracy takes a hit because he doesn't throw a lot of dump offs. You throw it further downfield on average, your completion % is going to suffer. Agreed it still could be better, though. Not sure I'd say that's Kaep's only good year in the pocket, but even with Kelly he had terrible...
