Mutate makes for some pretty one sided limited games, but companions fundamentally break some normal dynamics of how the game works. It's basically a free card in hand and creates more consistent play patterns to an extreme level.

triple invasion was better and had some nice 5c green based decks and the U/B cantrip/probe deck although apocalypse was decent. Planeshift was pretty bad, Khans was awesome as a 3x format as well. My favorite card to open was Trail of Mystery even if it wasn't as good as like Wingmate Roc.

This season isn't as bad as the low points of last season, but season 2 at least had better high points in a couple of really good episodes and good moments throughout even if it was an up and down shitfest mostly. This season is just mediocre from the beginning until this point.
