So much truth.
Just helped moved my daughter and son-in-law from Athens, GA to St. Louis. She’s 28 - I remember changing her diapers and calling her Stinkerbell…
I picked up a 5080 from Best Buy when they had Cyber Monday “sale” - replaced my 5070Ti since I was moving to a 4K monitor. 5070Ti was solid for my 1440p screen.
Debating whether to sell my 5070ti and also the 3080ti it replaced - probably just sell the 5070ti and have the other for back up.
This Bama team has been painful to watch all year. Even that scoring drive was just… what the fuck are we doing? And then the play calls to try to get two yards.
Proud (old) dad…
Yesterday I watched my daughter’s defense of her dissertation. It must still be allergy season in Georgia because my eyes were giving me fits.
Anyway, I will now be able to answer her calls with “what’s up, Doc?”
Both are still active, of course you have to have an account with a key to play classic. I've been playing classic some since Dune reminded me I had a Funcom account.
I’ve been to Best Buy twice in the last five years, picked up my 3080 Ti ordered online back when I built my PC, and went by to return my 9070XT when I decided to go with the 5070 Ti.
Well worth playing for the exploration and the world. I’m not a Potter fan or hater, but the world they built and the production quality of the game is top notch.
Ended up going with a Gigabyte Windforce 5070ti over the 9070xt - got it installed today, running well, now I need to sell my 3080 Ti FE and upgrade my CPU.
Turtle Beach - had one in a Dell prebuilt - grabbed the Trinitron 20” monitor with that build, still have that damn thing and it works. Think that was a P3 500 mhz.
I’ve played through twice and loved it - but I played the game after all of the bug fixes, everything I’ve read here and elsewhere said it was a clusterfuck at release. But it was a hell of a lot of fun once fixed and I wish it would get a sequel.
