Some of my favorite games have been made from single or duo developers that mostly self-taught themselves. This looks really cool so far and I hope you keep it up.
I don't think there really is a point on Teek other than "bragging rights" and taking away the experience of doing it from others. I doubt Ngreth would go back and change the buckets just for Teek. Someone will still do it just because they can, though.
Depending on the zone, you can also just evac and run back or get COTH'd. Obviously not viable for every raid zone, but most people playing now will have quit before you hit those expansions.
I believe there are a few videos of the krono disappearing floating around. You get the successful message and everything but the krono doesn't appear. Logging out doesn't fix it, waiting 24 hours doesn't fix it, etc.
It's wild to me that people exist who seem to think that the world hasn't regressed in the past 20 years, or that the country itself isn't going through very serious issues. And, if you point that out, somehow you're the crazy guy.
That $1600 price tag isn't for the chair - it's for the warranty. Unless you purposefully damage the chair, as in take a knife to to the fabric or something dumb like that, they'll replace it or repair it no questions asked for 10 years.
Everyone still saying this AAAA game will be "good" is just huffing copium at this point. The story isn't going to make sense, the characters aren't going to be compelling (or probably even likable), and there will be no depth to the game. You will be bored after a few hours and completing the...
Bros Ubisoft really decided to go with the potentially jewish japanese queer theory expert who probably is a card carrying member of NAMBLA as their historian instead of an actual historian... I feel like they're just fucking with us now
I've bought every AC game and have wanted a feudal Japan setting for years, but this one is going to be a no from me. The premise of the game sounds horrible and the disrespect towards the historical aspect of the era based on the story of one single potential black guy in Japan is too much for me.
If I see anything less than positive on the reviews then I dig around the comments/reviews to see what's going on. Most of the time it's legitimate stuff that makes me pause to think whether or not I really want to buy the game. I rarely encounter negative reviews/comments about social issues...
The cameo trolling feels inorganic because it comes across as someone being a douchebag. The Selos ones were funny because everyone could laugh at them. The people attempting to recreate that "magic" just don't understand that dynamic because they aren't connected to group of brain damaged...
Looks cool but I'm not preordering shit anymore so I guess we'll see how terrible this is when it comes out. I've been seeing rumors about the next AC and they aren't good so I don't have high hopes for this either.
I'm not terribly far into the game, but the thing that bums me out is it feels like there was less effort put into this than the original. NG+ on the original was really cool and made the replay worth while. The uniqueness of the Everfall was a really great idea. The Ur dragon was also a cool...
I don't care about the stupid micro transactions because they're in all kinds of games now, even Dragon Quest. Only idiots buy that shit to begin with. But apparently they took a bunch of things that made the original game "fun" and changed them, thinking that they knew better than the consumer...
I think what they did was lock the rat ears to a specific era at some point during Kunark on Mischief instead of them being available in classic. By the time they're available to purchase you normally would have just red wined instead because the amount of plat needed was available in game. I...
Yeah I don't really remember spending a ton of time indoors in the original outside of Bitterblack and the Everfall. I guess the spot with the Ur dragon counts as indoors as well.
Most of the "dungeons" in the original were end game content, like the Everfall. Bitterblack Isle doesn't count because it was an expansion. There was that random cave connecting a path under the mountain but other than that I don't really remember much indoors stuff.
ESG is almost always written as an expense, not an investment, because there is not even a net gain in intangibles from pushing it, even internally. This is why most intelligent companies are moving away from it. It does nothing but create strife and increase earnings volatility (mostly losses)...
People play these games for the narratives and stories. When you hire people who refuse to push boundaries you end up with stale content. People would probably tolerate using a dated engine if the game had a solid story and narrative, but it doesn't. It's bland and dry. That's why people blame...
