Just a hint : exploration can be fast and rewarding when you're in the good constellation. Go check ombil constellation in Aridia to understand what i am talking about, there you won't manage to complete a single site though, since the residents will chase you as soon as you enter a site.

Exploration in low sec or null sec is what you are looking for really. With exploration you actually DO SOMETHING when you log in, and really those L4s are the most boring PVE i ever saw in a game. I don't get your "pvp is waiting and doing nothing" tbh, sure it's the case when you're camping...

Not sure what you mean exactly, but it is almost impossible to fit an expanded probe launcher on a combat frigate due to CPU requirement. But you can still fit with relative ease, and without gimping your fitting, a core probe launcher (20 cpu req for tech II) : you can't scan down the ship...

Mobile depot is a nice addition, was not convinced before testing and changed my mind. Any recon/techIII using a plated setup is again viable for long roams or deep 0.0. Also, lol stratios ... 720 dps on agile cloaked cruiser

4/10 guristas/serpentis for sure. Higher tiers might be tankable but you'll lack dps.

If you want to solo. If you have an alt, i'd say go low sec, around black rise, guristas space. Do some exploration for isks and some pirating for fun. Skill your alt for cov ops then for probing falcon, use it as salvager too, those tech II and tech III wrecks around factionnal warfare fights...

I didn't play for a year or so, and just read that Tech III can now refit subs in space. How does this work ? You need a POS, or a carrier, or just to carry your subs in cargo ?
