Agreed. The cast & crew were originally told they were doing 10 episodes so the Christmas & Beard episodes were cut. Apple came back and said they wanted 12 so those 2 episodes were re-added, ultimately making them the weakest and more than likely, filler.

Opinions aside, it was an homage to Scorcese's "After Hours" in both title and content.

This latest episode was a nod to Scorcese and the black humor felt necessary with how heavy the previous episode was. Appreciated the side character development and how they chose to go with a more "off the rails" approach instead of some boring, formulaic one.

Running it on DX12, ultra, all 3 RTX settings on even though they don't do squat and it's running great with only the occasional micro-stutter during explosions. This is on a 2080 Ti card with the PC GamePass version.

Finally beat it tonight. There are definitely a couple of hard walls to break through difficulty wise, but once you start to unlock more weapons, traits, artifacts, consumables, and permanent upgrades, it does get much more manageable. You start to see what you can build toward and focus on it...

....and the pet since we don't know yet if they'll include it in the cash shop and I would say that a pet is mandatory, especially this one since it loots for you.

You have to access the settings while in the game world otherwise you won’t have access to all of them from the game menu. Something that also might help is go to Settings -> Gameplay -> Display and change auto move to “toward the cursor” and make sure “cursor aim” is checked.

The exp system in the game is kind of odd in that you can go from 1-30 at WT1 by just doing the main story with a few side quests sprinkled in. You only earn WT exp by killing mobs and most of the best gear is going to come from challenge tiers/expeditions which world tiers don't affect or...

Agree with other sentiments that this is definitely above average. The gameplay loop is solid, combat is simple but feels good, story is palatable, decent writing/voice acting, with lots of puzzles and what not to figure out. Nothing overly complicated/complex, just fun.

Same experience here. Had both consoles in the cart, agreed to all the capchas, no dice. There are massive cook groups setup for snagging these things and the bots they're using can go upwards of $8k.

Each Valorplate has unique stats, buffs, Archon abilities, and augment affinity slots, but I do agree that they should have tied the combat flow to unique Valorplate abilities vs. weapons. Combat is fun in that it kind of feels like God of War with less impressive animations.

The PS5 is ugly as sin, the battery life on the controllers is garbage due to the new trigger haptics, the exclusive pool is VERY small out the gate, and hardware wise it's shadowed by the XBOX, but I'll still get a PS5 once they're available. Microsoft has a lot of catching up to do but...

Keep in mind there are 2 GamePass catalog of games, one for PC and one for XBOX. Even though Microsoft has stated that all first party titles will be on PC GamePass, the games in each catalog are different. This will be the first year I pick up an XBOX since the 360 and am quite excited for it...

Dice Throne is the number 1 board game right behind Clank in the Pyksel Home. Season 2 was such a fantastic upgrade over the first in terms of packaging/presentation. We're very excited to see what transpires in Dice Throne Adventures once it arrives.
