Followed this one for many years and comes out today, 2 dev game. Mix of auto battles and 4X. Build structures, set paths for them and expand/defend/attack. It is very nuanced and I dare say hard to get into but I love these types of elements.

Dumb name but fun game, you buy from a pool of increasingly stronger tiers and auto fight others that do the same. It is free to play but expansion pack for new pets.
