New album comes out Sept 29. Initial track has me very excited. Super proggy - very King Crimson. About time they got away from that Willy Wonka bullshit.

Usually not into this kind of stuff, but this dude really changed up his style for this new album and I'm loving it. It gets pretty heavy at times (the second half of the first track is very King Crimson) but it's mostly good R&B/funk.

Big My Morning Jacket fan and Jim James is the brain behind it all. His solo stuff is notably different in style by being way less focused on straight rock, but it still has his "sound". This new album has a whole lot of R&B/funk undertones. This tune being the highlight. That bass line!
