I don't think that's a fair comparison, the RMAH was an entirely unique animal because the loot was so abysmal at the time. The odds of actually getting something you could use via a self found drop was almost impossible, your only option was to either farm gold for X number of hours or drop...

Actually according to a lot of the posts from TMO members due to them being geared to the teeth they'll be steam rolling everything.. Like literally one guy said ToV wont be a problem with there current gear.
