Keep in mind once you give to the players instant dungeon travel (or something similar), it is very difficult to take it away. They will then expect it always. If truly necessary, such a feature can be added later on (and hopefully in a very limited and controlled manner.)

I have to admit I dislike the fallen hero bit, but I could overlook that as long as they don't have what Rift had, a single starting zone where people are cheering you on for being a newly arisen special snowflake.

We already know in Pantheon there are more then 2 factions, multiple factions. Rift consisted of 2 factions, two dumb factions based on reality (science vs. religion). Brad has already said that factions play an important part of Pantheon's story, I don't even remember if factions were...

Funny I hate Rift's lore, but I actually like Pantheon's.

SOE is not going to take a risk on Pantheon. They have all their resources tied up in a venture called Everquest Next. Any excess capital beyond that is being called back to Tokyo.

I resubbed station access to play eq2, hated the new soloing game experience and decided to play Vanguard. Vanguard's community is much more vibrant and social than EQ2, this is really a shame.

Vanguard gets shuttered, yet games such as Anarchy Online find ways to keep chugging along. I just got into this game and was really enjoying the experience.

I think a more interesting setup for warriors would be to be able to don the leathers and be a skulking thief or strap on the metal and just be a mercenary like tank. I like the idea of following old class paradigms but it would be nice to see Pantheon change them up a bit.
