The movie wasn't completely devoid of humor. There were at least a half dozen moments during the movie that had the audience laughing. It's definitely much darker than Superman Returns though and had feelings of hopelessness throughout the movie which contributed to General Zod's badass'ery.

Saw an advanced screening. Hilarious movie with a lot of "wtf -jump-in-your-seat" moments. Danny McBride and Craig Robinson provide the most funny. Rogen & Baruchel provide the least amount of funny. I'd give it 3.5 of 5 stars. Think Pineapple Express in an apocalyptic setting...
