I don't doubt that. However, I don't think someone who is new to the server is going to be able to find consistent groups in any of the OoW instances.

Paw is far and away the best exp, just like before OoW. Unfortuntely, it is extremely boring.

As a veteran Macbook EQ player, my advice to you is to dual boot windows. I went the WINE route at first for a few months but it is clunky and in my opinion more trouble than it is worth.

I have a level 60 cleric sitting around on this server collecting dust. I wouldn't mind seeing the GoD raid content (I've never seen it in-era before). How's the population for getting groups etc on this server at this point? Would it take a while to get up to speed, or not too bad?

So, I haven't done the GOD+ era on TLPs. I hear a lot about "meleequest", but what melee in particular are competitive? Getting the itch. I don't care about topping parses but I don't want to play a shitty toon. How do BST do? Ranger? Monk?

Hit 50 today on my 7th day of aradune. I've been impressed with how easy it is to find groups even being way behind the curve.

People who want to play an MMO without instancing can go play on an era-locked private server and enjoy a permanent 4-6 guild GM-enforced rotation. Yep, killing the only relevant content in the game once every 2-3 months, for years at a time. Have fun with that.

Evil dominated SZ because necros and SKs are OP PVP classes that were only available to the evil team. Everyone knew this on day 1 and hence evil had a much larger population than the other two factions combined. Evil team attracted people who wanted to win with a handicap. On the other hand...

Yeah, I ended up not doing any EXP quests. It's been easy to find groups and my shaman is pushing up towards 30 now.

I just have a bad memory, thanks for correcting me. I played 99-2004 then quit until recently.

Paid for a sub, logged on, observed that you now need to kill 75-100 level 1 mobs to go from level 2 to level 3 as a solo player, and logged off. Maybe that's how it was back in the day and I forgot? I kinda remember 1-5 taking about half an hour.

How would it be starting from scratch on Aradune at this point? I've never done a TLP and kind of have the itch. Presumably I'd need to be careful about class I play, I guess. I was planning on just waiting until the next one but who knows when that will be.
