    Malazan Book Of The Fallen

I think the second time through Book of the Fallen is even better than the first. I certainly enjoyed Gardens of the Moon a thousand times more than I did the first time. I almost gave up on the series in the middle of that first book the first time through. Glad I didn't. Deadhouse Gates...

The entire season had one laugh for me when Jean-Ralphio says to John Malkovich "you look like the type of guy that pretends to like jazz." Pretty awful otherwise.

Eh. GS could win every game in these finals by 400 points and KD would still get the absolute max offer possible this offseason and multiple of them. I don't disagree with the overall sentiment though. KD won't risk anything heading into this offseason, but there's no way he's worried about...

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

I dated one girl I couldn't get to orgasm and it bugged the hell out of me. To me it sounds similar to what people here are saying. She grew up in a religious, conservative family and I think that had a big part of it. She would always get SO CLOSE and then force herself to calm down. It was...

    Pets

Thanks guys. A couple days removed and I'm doing better. I feel like the moment I decided she needed to be put down I had made peace with things and after that I got a weekend to pamper her and say my goodbyes. She was definitely suffering though and her going on her own a couple days early...

Lost this girl tonight. Maeby. She was 13. I had her for 12 of those years. A wonderful, sweetheart of a dog that had a good life. She had been slowing down for the past year or so. Her appetite dropped considerably over the last month leading to the past 4 or 5 days where she refused to...

Apex Legends new free to play battle royale game from Respawn

I'm spoiled with Overwatch letting me focus on non DPS characters. Tack on I've always felt so far behind the curve with the other BR games I haven't played much of this format. Figured a new one would be a good time to learn. Objectively awful through only a few matches. Game seems fun...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

I don't really have an answer for how to "fix" Mythic raiding. Fights should be challenging. If they aren't, Mythic just turns into LFR for decent players. Generally I want to look back on a raid and think it was fun. I thought HFC was a lot of fun (all of the WoD raids were really). EN was...

I'm going to play classic for one reason. A bunch of friends from the guild that BFA killed are all going to roll at the start. I wouldn't otherwise.

The Kyrie thing really throws a strange wrench into these trade talks. If you are the Lakers you're pushing hard right now for a deal since Boston can't do anything until the season ends.

    Bird Box (2018)

I think as a movie in general this was pretty shitty, but the post apocalypse genre is filled with a ton of stuff that is much worse. Genre specific, I think this was about average. Certainly not a movie I'd recommend to anyone else, but I didn't really hate watching it.

I rushed to cap like I'm sure a lot of others here then quit probably a week later after seeing the first raid. Was a shame leveling really was fun and the game had mega hype.

Making a Murderer (Netflix) - New info

Strang and Buting couldn't prove motive for any of these people prior to his first trial and that's why the state denied their motions to circumvent Denny. Zellner brings up Bobby and his computer more as a Brady violation than anything. You also have to buy into the Rav4 blood being planted...

Making a Murderer (Netflix) - New info

If the key was the only shitty thing about how the case was handled you might have a point. If you take this stance you have to magic wand away a whole ton of questionable stuff. Did the Kratz press conference taint the jury? Eh, probably not. Was Colborn staring at the Rav4 when he called...

    Lord of the Rings Online

Gonna give this a go and see if I can deal with the awful combat and enjoy the world building. I'd say the odds aren't great since I've tried that many times before, but maybe the concentration of people at the lower content will add some fun.

Making a Murderer (Netflix) - New info

I don't really have a problem with anyone that thinks Steven killed this girl. The scenarios where that isn't the case are pretty far fetched. I think he killed her, but I also think law enforcement did everything possible disregarding ethics to make sure he was convicted. I guess the...

What is the plan for the FoH forum guild this expansion? My Alliance crew decided to go casual going forward, and to be honest that works for me with my general schedule. Still, I start an expansion and the idea of not trying some Mythic raids at the beginning really gets to me. If you guys...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

So no one really knows how numbers will shake up for raiding. Blizzard will do their tuning pass before they release and everything will change. But mechanically, Frost Mage is the top desired ranged class for M+ due to int buff, hero and 24/7 slows on mobs. Right now they do pretty nuts AE...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Every guild is also packed with melee DPS and while comments like "being a competent player is all that matters" may apply to a certain level, Mythic progression does require some type of range/melee balance. Do survival hunters right now have the same level of utility as their ranged...

343 after unlocking and getting through all the mythics this week. I did break down and buy a couple BOEs. Not a bad start. I can't commit to a mythic raid schedule anymore so just enjoying the start. Poopsocking the very beginning of an expansion has always been fun.

I'm not sure there's a fight I've enjoyed less than M Kin. Even rekills are a chore and I'm even a warlock that just gets to sit on the ledge and ignore everything. Most of my guild says M Mistress was their least favorite of this expansion but I actually loved that one so who knows.

I get all the Cousins comments. I still am in favor of the Vikings going after him though. He's good, not great, but certainly the best FA QB and at least proven to be what he is. You have to expect some regression from Keenum and too much medical questions around Teddy and Bradford. I think...

I'm not sure how much I agree with this. Nor do I think a one or two year evaluation is enough to really decide on how good a player is going to end up being. Brogdon won ROY because, yes the top of the the draft disappointed, it was a weak year and he was arguably much more NBA ready than...

I know this makes sense for the franchise but it doesn't for Hoiberg. He inherited a good team, regressed and didn't really show anything until the very end of last season when they finished strong and squeaked into the playoffs. I'm an ISU guy so I love Hoiberg obviously. He's just playing...

Still on a big high from the end of that game. I don't think there was much of an argument here though. Diggs wouldn't have made it out of bounds if Williams had just played conservative, but I think he was just playing on instinct. Case doesn't really get a ton of zip on the ball so all his...

Lots of good rookies this year. Simmon's stat line probably gets him the ROY award without much contention but Tatum has been the most positive contributor. Helps he's on a team with a ton of talent and only has to take 9 shots a game, but he's a good all around player. Still don't think he...

Yeah the foot injury is such a bummer for him. He's going to be that type of guy that has to sit 20 games every year and who knows how short it'll cut his career. He's great though. Super talented and a good personality for the younger generation.

So I mean lets say this holds true and Towns never really improves on defense. He's essentially a newer version of Dirk at that point then. Is that a low swag pushover? I think he's still a pretty amazing player even if his defense remains at the level it is now (fingers crossed it doesn't).
