I just wanted to highly recommend this movie. This is a plot and character driven movie that features Adam, our protagonist, who discovers he has a rare form of spinal cancer and undergoes the grueling oncology / chemotherapy / surgical process. It's extremely well done with multiple characters that he meets along the way. They do a great job with a doctor who has the typical poor bedside manner, complete with no eye contact and inability to explain medical terminology (shwanoma neurofibrosarcoma). It demonstrates Adam going through multiple stages of grief and also oscillations of his feelings. He experience trouble with his family, best friend, and girlfriend. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop here, but I just wanted to highly recommend this film. Expertly acted, good plot, great story, and some heart breaking things (the scene before he goes to surgery.)
