i know American Horror Story already ripped this off. the book Witching Hour was kind of porny, but its Anne Rice, thats how she rolls. i wasnt a fan of this series. i stopped at the first book.

I have the first 6 dvr'd. I was a big fan of all of Anne Rice's stuff in the 90's and early 2000's, including the Mayfair Witch stuff. This was promising in parts, and not in others. Maybe its the years between, but I do not like Lasher so far and that's a pretty big part of things moving forward.
I'm going to give it a chance. I don't know what it is about Rice's stuff that they just can't seem to translate it to tv/film successfully and consistently. There could be more than half a dozen or more incredible vampire movies if they just followed her lead. Interview with the Vampire was pretty awesome and I absolutely hate Tom Cruise.

Watched the first 4 episodes and it was surprisingly good. Well acted and great cinematography. Other than the woke casting choices, it doesnt seem to have anything written into the story so far. And is much better than Interview With A Vampire was.

She's a smokeshow, and in ep 3 or 4 or so she's in a dress that definitely highlights her assets, but no tits yet with a few eps to catch up on. Still enjoying this, the plot is thickening for sure.

I'm a boob guy but Alexandra is one of those women that's so hot in every single way that she doesn't need to have her tits hanging out y'know? Just a nice bonus when it happens haha.

Honestly for me it's her eyes... 😻

Finally got around to watching this. Definitely not a perfect show but it's good. The fact that the leader of the anti-witch group is the same actor as the leader of the Nazis in season 3/4 of Banshee is really fucking with my immersion tho lol. Basically the same character. May as well retcon that the shows are in the same universe.

As you know, I like to consume media... I had to bail after episode 3- I found myself drifting and not having a clue where this was going.

Alexandra D'darrio is pretty hot, but her character is kind of dopey in this.

Maybe I'll try it again another time.
