I'd love a well done futuristic BF series. But I think I am in the minority. I want to get in game and not recognize any of the guns, any of the vehicles etc.

Hey can DICE just make a a planetside sequal but BF skin :p

Nope. Battlefield 2142 was perfect. The best of the series IMO. Followed by BC2.

You mofos are crazy! 2142 had everything you could ask for. Mech's futuristic weapons. The commander actually mattered. The sound was crazy detailed. It was glorious! Vehicles weren't OP. The squad play was excellent!
