This is a UK show on the BBC honestly it has most of the nation griped at the moment it is about a UK home secretary ( very senior political role on the UK) and her bodyguard as she tries to push through a controversial bill on data and how the government can access it. It has terrorist, back stabbing, so many twist and turns always keeping you guessing who is behind everything. For a show on the BBC honestly it is extremely well done and pretty violent without showing to much (it's the BBC) Cannot recommend it enough it is currently on episode 3 of 6 give it a few weeks and I am sure you will be able to torrent the whole series.

Generally speaking this forum shows little interest in UK shows, especially ones they have to search for and torrent.

Can't say I blame them, looking on r/unitedkingdom seems people thought this show was overhyped. I find BBC stuff is a few years behind the USA and a lot of programs are just UK facisimilies of US stuff, eg 24 = Spooks, Boardwalk Empire = Peaky Blinders.

I dunno, Luther and Sherlock (the early seasons) were pretty universally loved around here.

I saw the first 10 minutes or so of this on YouTube, and I've decided to check it out. It hooked me enough to give it a shot.

I just finished this. It was really great all the way up until

The jihadi chick just confesses to all of it, on tape, with not the slightest bit of pressure or provocation - right before she was completely free. With her lawyer present, who said not one word.

"Haha! it was all me! and I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling security officers and your little war vet!

Yea I tihnk it was a case of to many story lines not enough shows to finish them,

She was going to go down for the train bomb attempt anyway so maybe wanted to claim reponsability for whater jihad group she was part of

The guy that made this, Jed Mercurio also did Line of Duty. Before he started to write he was a Doctor and his first foray into writing was a little known BBC tv show called Bodies about a inept Obs and Gynae surgeon. If you can find it it's well worth watching, Keith Allen/Max Beesley are 2 of the main characters in it. It's way better than Line of Duty and this.

I thought this show was absolutely awful, spastic storylines and god the main guy was fucking annoying - not sure why it was so popular.

Binged this yesterday, thought it was gripping stuff.
Everyone confessing to everything so easily was indeed stupid though.

Great series, watched it on Netflix. The ending was some blue balls, Shyamalan bullshit, though. Rob Stark was on fucking point.
