Has anyone ever purchased the caster wheels that look like wheels taken straight from a pair of rollerblades? I'm talking something like this:

I have a fairly nice office chair. It's a Serta with springs, and Tempurpedic memory foam that has been quite kind to my derrière, but my chair resides on top of a flimsy plastic carpet protector that has a bit of flex, on top of a rug, on top of shitty carpet, so my wheels tend to sink into the "layered" floor. Would these improve my mobility, or exacerbate my issues with "sinking" (chair getting kind of stuck in a position)? Also, will they add any height to the chair?
I spend hundreds of hours sitting in this fucking thing, I figure I might as well try to optimize the experience...
