Yea, it depends on the camera system and how they are connected. Mine are all PoE (power over ethernet) which all plug into a switch, along with the DVR, on their own separate network (isolated from the internet/CCP spying). Any DVR that plugs into the network should be able to record those feeds.

If you want to make sure, you could try to read up on DVR brands and/or using a networked computer to host a recording program. A lot of people seem to like the Blue Iris recording program set up on a dedicated computer, but I think it only has a subscription model now.

Also Unifi is said to add 3rd party camera onvif protocol support soon. Then i can put all my stuff at work on it.

RCA looks like your old TV PS1 plugs
BCN is twist locking coax cable essentially
Poe - cat5/6 is network cable, like a “big” phone cord

Edit- also rca and coax/bnc will run a separate power cable on them as the rca or coax can’t do power only the video.
