I can't think of another example of a company coming out and saying, "You know how Bannerlords was a huge missed opportunity? We're just going to make what we all hoped it would be."

Lies. I think adding the developer to the games thread title is a good standard format moving forward. sure it doesn't mean much for this one, with it being their first game.
but stuff like Supergiant, owlcat, devolver, larian, etc, its meaningful. like in the way, -Lucascarts, or -origin, would have been in the past.

Honestly I'm kinda siding with Tuco Tuco on this one. It seems to me that a descriptor of what the game is in the thread title is more informative to someone who knows zero about the game than listing the publisher, which only serves to further ID the game. This means that me in my Zero info state would have to look up about the game to determine if I was even interested in it. Tuco's method saves people having to look up the subject of the game if it isn't obvious by the title (no one's confused what Call of Duty: Current Year is going to be about. Probably.).

What do you have to say about that?

both I suppose.

I just added the new Clockwork revolution trailer to the clockwork revolution thread.. and noticed Burns had posted it as, "Clockwork Revolution (inXile)"
Elden Ring - From Software + George RR Martin
Marathon (Bungie)

while looking back at another by Zidan.. Lies of P (Souls-like)

so, yeah. as noted, with a new studio, with no credits, maybe it does work best to list genre like that. while, a game from an established studio, listing the studio works better.

in this case, (mount and blade-like). (although, the video doesnt actually show enough to be sure on that part...)

Thanks amod Regardless the thread title i think we can all agree that chronicles medieval is a dumb name and "mount and blade" is a great name except that it's phonetically confusing since it sounds like Mountainblade.

ha. yeah. Chronicles: medieval implies, theres a "chronicles: modern warfare", "chronicles: pike and shot", "chronicles:bronze age", etc coming. which I mean.. would be cool as hell...but, first things first guys.
