For those who have never played an online browser world sim: you sign up and pick a country, than proceed to work, train, fight each day. At it's core it is as simple as that. Where it gets fun is the politics, the running companies, running mercenary military units(MU), and generally trolling people from all over the world. You can literally spend hours involved in these parts of the game.

I know what some of you are thinking, "I already played eRepublik." Well this is a lot like it only much much better. In this game you have all the fun politics, like in eRep, only now even a small group of people can be a huge force. And it is still very new so you can get in on the ground floor.

What is different from eRep:

1) The support/development/moderation team is much more active than in eRepublik. If you played eRepublik with us, you know that often our biggest problem was competing against massive multi-account farms. Well in e-Sim, action against multi-accounts is taken swiftly and those that are involved in the creation them generally are monitored if they make a new account after being banned.

2) Battles are now broken up into rounds 2 hours long. The first side to win 8 rounds wins the battle. This is how it makes it easier for a small group to contribute to overall victory.

3) Military units(MU) that allow you to work as a team and set a target. Also create a commune of sorts for supplies.

4) Companies are run much the same except all supplies are on your person. And import taxes are tied, to your citizenship.

5) Stock Companies!! Yes now you can create public companies with shares and dividends.

6) Contracts are a way to securely trade between two people.

There is also Gold Buying, however it is much cheaper and last much much longer than it did in eRep.

We are located in South Korea, simply because the lack of actual Koreans makes it easy to control the country as we want. We have of late been a deciding factor in multiple important battles making a name for ourselves. This recognition got us an unsolicited Mutual Protection Pact with the largest nation in the game. Our small 75 person nation just soundly beat a 123 person Canada with several more allies than us. It was glorious!

Our goal is to continue building a powerful MU and country. This is where we need help, as even 5 more solid people and we would increase our power 25-30%. 1 person can make a difference, and it is very easy to get started and catch up.

Here is a brief article on the drama and fun for SK. -http://secura.e-sim.org/article.html?id=29400

First follow the referral link below, referrals are important as the provide extra gold for you and the person you sign up under. All referral gold we receive, will be donated to the MU. Also below is a guide for your first days on E-Sim. You will want to join us on IRC on the Rizon Network, the channel is #secura.sk. We are more than willing to help you guys get started.

CLICK THE LINK BELOW, PICK SOUTH KOREA FOR YOUR CITIZENSHIP (you may have to click "Show More" to see the option). MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN INVITER'S NAME. JOIN US ON IRC!
E-Sim: A World Sim Browser MMOG

Make sure you choose to join us in South Korea before you finish the registration, or it will auto-pick your country based on your IRL location.

ALSO - We are currently recruiting new players to help PTO China for lulz. If you want to help that, make sure you pick "China" for your citizenship. After you sign up and become a Chinese citizen, get in touch with us in IRC and this thread so we can help you get set up.

NEWBIE GUIDE!

Below are a list of helpful tips for your first day as a new player in eRepublik.

1) Upload a citizen avatar . Not only does this make your citizen unique, it gives you five experience points the first time you do it.

2) Get a job . Like in the real world, you need a job to earn income so that you can purchase goods. Apply for whatever job pays the best in the beginning.

3) Once you have a job, work . You can work once per day, and each time you work you gain five experience points, in addition to your wage.

4) Now it's time to train . Training helps build strength, which allows you to do more damage on the battlefield when you can fight (after reaching level two). It also gives you four experience points each time you train, which can be done once per day.

Congratulations, you have reached level two! You are now able to contribute to your country's cause on the battlefield.

5) Fight! Fight! Fight! Fighting, while not necessary to be successful in e-Sim, is a great way to advance your level much more quickly and also allows even the lowest ranking of citizens to contribute directly to the advancement of their country in e-Sim. With every time you fight on a battlefield, you gain one experience point, a various amount of military rank points, and add to your side's total damage.

To locate a battle you can participate in directly from your country, look on the right side of your home screen under the battles tab. If there are no battles that you can fight in from your home country, locate the battles page, decide on a battle you would like to participate in, and then travel to a region of one of the countries involved. Because you start off with four Q5 (Quality 5) moving tickets as a new citizen, you will choose the Q5 option for moving ticket on the travel page.

Once you have found a battle to fight in, open up the battlefield page, and proceed to fight by either pressing the Fight button, or the Berserk button (this is the same as pressing the fight button five times).

While there are many positives to fighting, there is also a negative. Each time you fight, you lose ten points of health (so 50 points if you Berserk). As your citizen only starts off with 100 health, you could see how this can quickly become a problem. Fortunately, each day there are two ways to recover health manually, and one way that health is recovered automatically.

The two manual ways are through the use of food and gift products. With each type of product, you are able to recover 10 health per quality of the product, per use, up to the use limit of each product for your citizen. The quality of the product is designated by it's 'Q' level, which goes from one to five. The use limit for a new citizen is 10 for both food and gifts, but it can be increased later through the acquisition of a house (food limit) or estate (gift limit).

As an example, all new citizens start off with 10 each of Q1 food and gifts. This means that on your first day you can recover 100 health through the use of food, and 100 health through the use of gifts. (It is recommended that you use all 10 of each product type on your first day, this way you can maximize the amount of experience and rank gained.) In the future you will use your acquired currency to purchase your food and gifts off of the product market.

The automatic way that health is recovered each day is done each new day in e-Sim. Every time the clock strikes 00:00 in-game, you citizen will automatically recover 50 health. Because of this, it is recommended that you never end your day above 50 health so that you do not waste any of this "free" automatic health. Ideally, you end every day at exactly 50 health, so each time you begin a new day, you have full 100 health.

Once you have finished all of your fighting, you will want to return to your homeland (if you aren't there already) where you can retire for the day. Rest well citizen, you earned it!

And that brings an end to this guide. Beyond your first day, you will continue working, training, and fighting to build your citizen level, and soon enough you will be able to vote in elections, run companies, play the markets, band together with others in a military unit, or run for a political seat in your country's government.

Yeah, between all the multi farms banned, USA's food companies going to hell since CEC went back to Canada and the extra consumption from medkits, it's a pain in the ass to find food and gift. We tried to keep q5 food inflation to a minimum in SK, but it still had to go up some.

Btw, it's shaping up that our bros in Australia finally will get a region freed tonight or in the morning. This is in no small part due to Korea's help.
Our grip on Taiwan is pretty fucking strong, the risk to lose those regions and their high iron is minimal, meanwhile we're still kicking ass on the world scene and taking names. Good job guys.

Chance to miss pisses me the fuck off. The others, I guess, are just enhanced damage, but reducing damage is SHIT.

It's going to be funny when railman doesn't balance the stats and the player base realizes one is overpowered and starts sploiting the shit out of it.

First Haru put it in a shout then deleted it when told to and now Yerm put the adress to this website in both a shout and in the comment of an article. Consider any info to be posted here compromised. To discuss future plans and the likes we definitely need a private sub-forum.

Got RRP upgraded to Veteran today so there is a 15% damage bonus now for hitting on orders if you're a member. Vorph made a sizeable contribution to finish off the fee (410g total to upgrade it), so if ya'll want to help reimburse him any then you can do it by donating a gold or two to the MU (if everyone donates 1.5g it fully reimburses him).

And keep up the good shit everyone. If you haven't noticed, basically any country worth a damn recognizes Korea as one of the top countries in the game (even top dog Poland envies our level of coordination and teamwork). I know it may seem like times are slow locally because we're not running around pounding China/Canada/Malaysia through direct war, but we kind of have to recognize our current population/strength limitation and use it to assess risk (people losing their investment in Penghu) versus reward (gaining a shitty oil region) and make decisions based off that. I know it sucks as far as excitement goes, but we have to do what's best for the people who drive our country to where it is, and those are the major gold buyers who keep our country from being some shithole like Taiwan/China by operating all these big companies and supplying the population with reasonably-priced goods.

Anyway, I'll figure some stuff out this month to make things more interesting for those who mostly just two-click. For now, just be sure to idle on IRC if you can because that at least gives you an opportunity to shoot the shit with a bunch of other [rerolled] guys and also because every two-to-three days I'll hand out free 55 q1 weapons now (this could be more frequent if more people worked in the government weapon company btw
