Bethesda is only publishing this one. ZeniMax Online Studios is the actual developer. Hopefully they get it right.

I'm so tempted to sign up for this, but I'm also wary of the fact most(re: all) mmo's atm are stale as shit. :/ I want to believe, but I've been hurt too many times.

You just have to maintain an attitude of cautious enthusiasm, with an extra dose of the caution. I find it helps if I try to remain enthusiastic about the genre as a whole but don't get fixated on this or that game being thenext big thing, just enjoy them for what they are.

What I do is I just figure, hey, if I get into the beta I'll have at least a few hours of free gaming if it's shit, but if it's good then I know I won't be wasting those $40 or $50 or whatever the box price will be when it comes out. But yeah, the thought of finding another game that will get me hooked for half a decade or more... lol, those times are gone!
