This is what I've thrown together for regular lvl 80 80 dur crafts to minimize steps - I have no idea if it'll be any use medium to long term but it's helping me do white scrips using NQ materials and it's only 488 CP :

/ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
/ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
/ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
/ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Ingenuity" <wait.2>
/ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
/ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
/ac "Name of the Elements" <wait.2>
/ac "Brand of the Elements" <wait.3>
/ac "Brand of the Elements" <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis" <wait.3>

and finish with another Careful Synthesis. This gets you to 11 stacks of IQ, allows the GS on Byregots and the Innovate and the Ingenuity on the Byregots and both Brand actions. The two Brand actions alone give 3100 progress. Would obv like to get it down to 15 steps but I just wanted something I could run AHK on to farm some white scrips for now.

edit : Malakriss you're right mate, Delicate is much easier. Following needs slightly more CP but is only 14 steps including Reuse :

/ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
/ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
/ac "Ingenuity" <wait.2>
/ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
/ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
/ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
/ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
/ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
/ac "Ingenuity" <wait.2>
/ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
/ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis" <wait.3>
/ac "Reuse" <wait.2>
/ac "Careful Synthesis" <wait.3>

Great tip just spotted on Reddit. Once you have your actions set up on one class - in this example Alchemist - when you change to another class you can copy the actions/hot bars you already have set up on alchemist using the following macro/commands ;

/hotbar copy Alchemist 1 current 1
/hotbar copy Alchemist 2 current 2
/hotbar copy Alchemist 3 current 3
/hotbar copy Alchemist 10 current 10

This copies all the actions you have set up on alchemist on bars 1, 2, 3 and 10 to the class you have swapped to when you run this command.

Spitballing on my own i threw together a 90% HQ macro even on 35 dur stuff. With quad melds on the 5 new armor pieces I'm sitting at 2309/2345 non-specialist, but that's only with a guaranteed CP slotted in the old tools. So literally +174 craft / +88 control raw with new tools plus melds for them if i even bother. I would not be surprised if my ghetto macros are guaranteed 100% and then efficient ones can clobber 80-90% on future 3-star stuff.

For your 14 step I have to drop the Careful before Reuse or it would finish early for example. The craft gains are so large I'm using a wider gap on 2-stars with a 1700 progress Focused Synth finisher just to future proof.

The new material you need for crafting stuff that costs white scrips can be desynthed fairly easily from 80 dungeons gear(including the old ones). I was sitting on 20 or so items from the old expert dungeons to desynth and got like 6-7 more from the 2runs I did of the new dungeons and to my surprise they desynthed into these pristine liquid stuff that sold really quickly for a decent bit of money. I got 16 of them(2 per item, so 8 items), they're used for the new crafter/gatherer gear. Also interestingly I got 4 of them from amarautine belts, even though I literally had 0 LTW desynth before I did them(well maybe 5-10 cause I think I desynthed some syrcus drops I had too), so you don't even need the "bonus" from having high desynth, although from the wording you get those items more often with it. Rest was almost entirely GSM stuff and I'm capped in GSM desynth so that might be why I got a bunch.

Also I leveled CUL desynth to cap, using 412desynth fishes, it took about 280fishes and around 30mins of desynthing, using both Bacon's Broth and Tinker's Calm HQ. Granted a fair bit of these fishes were for the last few points, it slows down a shit ton once you get higher, it was probably 200 for ~430 skill or so. Also tested stuff and desynth is still level based for gains, you can't desynth low lvl stuff and gain anything on high desynth(makes sense I guess but was worth checking).

Oh and in case people didn't see, they did make the effort needed to make the 2B stuff look good. Basically equipping it changes your ass into a bigger model(similar to when you use mods for this kind of stuff), so it actually looks pretty nice even with the usual flat assed XIV models.

Starts with the level 1 glamour set from the coffers at the end. A shame we won't be able to mix and match pieces from class sets, but that's a shame in general that so many games don't allow that still.

Minimum stats note:
At 2462/2432/538 (no food) the 2* 35 durability macro works for 2.5*
At 2290/2468/538 + NQ food then minorly modifying the 2* 70 durability macro will work for 2.5*
--- Modifications: add a Prudent Touch after the last delicate, move last Ingenuity before Byregot and add Innovation before Byregot

NQ food can be bought at a vendor remember. The 2.5* HQ food macro simply becomes the best use of that extra CP when trying to make future 3* items.
538 CP is attainable non-specialist without putting in the 1 CP materia in helm/chest/gloves. The 2.5* macros relying on HQ food need 540 CP.

I've been fucking around with TC and the requirements for the new gear are really low, I thought it'd be more annoying. I still haven't really upgraded most of my gear so I checked how much melding I'd need to craft the new stuff right away, and I basically only need to overmeld 1 slot on SOME pieces and only for CP(like CP3 to get the 12CPs needed on accessories and shit), and buy some VIII materias for the guaranteed melds, and I'll need HQ bouillabaisse+HQ syrup for the first few crafts, along with HQ sand and some HQ items(1 swallow leather or 1 dwarven cottong seems enough). Will probably get that shit started tomorrow, from the looks of it seems it'll only cost me like 2m to upgrade everything. I could wait until they add more gear but the jump will be more annoying cause a bunch of stuff will go up in value I'm sure.

Not a fan of many pieces of that set. Only a few that I would mix and match with other stuff. I feel similar to how you do when it comes to glamour's / transmogrifications across the game scene, though. Less barriers overall to changing the appearance of your character would be nice. One side of my brain is saying "Oh, but if you have a black mage wearing plate - it'll break immersion!" but the other side of my brain is heavily saying "If you worked your ass off to get that item, you should be able to glamour it regardless of what class you're playing." So essentially, breaking the mold of what game designers "think" a class should look like. If I want to be a plate wearing black mage, ala Battle Mage, then let me. It's not game breaking and it only effects me, the player, in what I think is acceptable. Very much a conservative Versus liberal argument over this kind of subject. Interesting, cause I politically lean towards the right.

On that same note, Ive always hated the fact that women characters and men characters have a different look per armor piece. It doesnt really affect me in most games cause I play a male, but it drove me up a wall in Black Desert when I was forced to play a female character to level a ranger. Any and all gear that I could wear as a ranger was feminine, where all I wanted was at least a genderless armor set. Final Fantasy 14 bends the needle a bit in this, cause there are definitely some lady boys in the MSQ Scenario's.

The only thing that would bother me about opening up glamour's would be the weapon system. I dont know why a caster wearing plate wouldnt bother me, but a caster wielding a Warrior 2h Axe would.. But I, for some reason, cant wrap my head around glamouring an axe on a Wand etc.

Despite the weaver nerfs it appears the crazy crafters are stocking up for ishgard and driving wind/lightning crystal prices skyhigh. Fire crystals as well on some servers.

Wind are 300 and lightning 135 on Ragnarok, seems pretty normal prices. Water cratered down to 20g though lol, the desynth changes.

Crafted my crafting set, I fucked up my TC sim yesterday, it was even easier than I checked. I literally didn't overmeld anything and used NQ food and no syrup and still had 100% HQ with only a few HQ mats, which were easy to HQ myself anyway. Now I need to buy an humonguous amount of materials to craft 460 gear for my tank, healer and one DPS. Still not sure which DPS I want though, it's between DNC and MNK, on one hand I like MNK and it's strong, on the other DNC is comfy as fuck being ranged with full instant and on top En Avant for repositioning. With the new set I can HQ everything with NQ food and no HQ mats which is pretty neat, just need to waste 2hours doing that shit tomorrow or something.

Hades is being a bitch so far in pubs though, doesn't help I'm barely 450 so I can only enter like half the PFs. Got a decent bit into the ice/fire phase but the tether shit or the aoe after are killing people. I just kinda want to kill it once so I have credit and can forget about it.

On Aether datacenter some people have purchased wind/lightning for up to 500 per (@ 1000 or more quantity), fire going 300+ on some.

The dumb part about the 460 augmented crafted gear is that you can literally craft only HQ weapons, turn them in for 45 certificates each, and then buy an entire gearset for goetia.

That's how it worked before, and while I haven't done the math yet, back with Rakshasa it was a lot cheaper to do accessories, because a large part of the price in those items are the alchemy components(alkahest currently), and accessories only take 1 versus 3 for weapons, so it was a lot more efficient to make 2 accessories than 1 weapon for roughly the same amount of "tickets". Might be different this tier though as I said haven't checked yet, for Rakshasa you had the scrip only materials(gyr abanian alchemics) in the reisuis that made them expensive as fuck. Anyway that's the plan once I figure the cheapest way I'll just craft a bunch of the same item to turn in. Ironically I need to farm goetia to actually get this shit done though cause like a retard I used a bunch buying mats a few days ago.

12 certs - Facet rings take 1x Ingot, 1x Onyx, 1x Reisui.
45 certs - Facet weapons take 4x Ingot, 1x random other mat, 3x Reisui
42 certs - Facet chest/legs (ARM only, avoid leathers) take 4x Ingot, 1x random other mat, 2x Reisui
33 certs - Facet helm/gloves/boots ARM only (ARM only, avoid leathers) take 3x Ingot, 1x random other mat, 2x Reisui
21 certs - Facet belts take 2x Ingot, 1x random other mat, 1x Reisui

Belts only take an extra ingot compared to jewelry but give 175% of the certs per Reisui
Chests are basically double a belt's mats for double the certs but making one craft HQ is more efficient than two.
Helm/Gloves/boots are belt + jewelry mats for belt + jewelry certs. Belts alone would be more efficient.
Weapons use an extra Reisui compared to chests but only award 3 extra certs for it.

ARM chests or ARM belts seem optimal. As long as you avoid leathers nothing is bad though.

Ah yeah different values than Rakshasa, although looking at Rakshasa now the values aren't that good either I wonder if they changed them at some point, I forgot. Currently is 9/12/15/21/29 so weapons were 3x accs and worse than 3x belts(so I guess I must have made belts then).

New stuff values are way different and way more fucked with accessories versus belts.

Edit: Starting doing plate belts, more or less everything seems fairly close in price anyway couldn't find something much cheaper, goetia mats are pretty fucking expensive compared to old rakshasa tome mats but I can save some money gathering prism/tungsten whenever the nodes pop up. Basically making 12 belts then getting full left side HQ. Crafting the ingots is boring as fuck though wish you could quicksynth that shit.

If anyone on Gilg/Aether needs the new HQ crafter/gatherer stuff I just got my Weaver and alchemist to 80.

Just bring me the mats and I'll make you anything free of charge.

I am loving the hell out of the new crafting. Once I get some mats I am going to start trying to make my hq shared items. I am in the cheapo 2177/2020/541 set from 5.05, so I know I will need mostly hq mats and to tweak my combines a bit.

Recipe 70 or under? Trained Eye and basic synth bitch!

New gathering is the bomb!

Finally cleared Hades EX, it's always hilarious how bad some fucking people are or how little brain they can use, stupid strats like "ranged take tethers" even though we have 2 ranged so they get the same colors 50% of the time, which leads to a wipe. Wiped at 0.1% yesterday because healers were too busy DPSing instead of healing people dying to the dot at the end too, so fucking annoying. Then we proceeded to wipe a bunch of times in P2 to healers not healing aoes again(literally just DPSing while people dying to the dot in that phase also), and eventually disbanded. Worst part is we had so much fucking DPS in that group we really didn't need the healers flexing, we had literally 3 DPS doing 12k+ and I was shitting along with my 9k DNC, we had so much my usual tech step rotation was getting thrown off cause we were skipping phases, but no, motherfuckers got to DPS during aoe intensive parts because muh parses or whatever.

Anyway will probably farm enough tokens for one weapon and be done with it, I just wanted to clear it so I could farm mount later without having to find a "learning party" 2years from now with people not doing the most basic mechanics.

Leveled almost all my desynth to 400 too, blacksmith is the only one left and I have a bunch of mats prepared, I was just focusing on finishing Hades before all the learning parties were terrible(it was already quite there).
