Pumpkin pie CAN be very good, but by default I usually pass on it. Most people and storebought pies use canned slop. I've done a scratchmade pumpkin pie and it was very good, but I also couldn't help but think if I put that sort of time/effort into an apple or cherry pie, how much better it would be.
