So I'm looking at getting Elite

angerous and I'm a kickstarter for Star Citizen so eventually I'm going to want a joystick and throttle (and possibly pedals) set up.

I've seen some reviews and some of the $150ish price point ones get decent reviews but then have several 1 star reviews as well.

I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with these set ups and could make a recommendation.

Are the $400+ models worth it?

The X52 from Saitek is good at 150 bucks. I have it. Have no problems with it at all for Elite Dangerous. It works very well, especially in conjunction with voice attack.

The 400 + models seem a bit much, but I mean if you're a super enthusiast I can see going for them.

Both games play equally well with a mouse.

I can appreciate that, but I've wanted to get this kind of setup for awhile. Just trying to see if there's enough difference to go with the high end models.
