I might watch that one. I do wonder how bad society would get if something like that were to occur. Would people even report to work anymore? Why go too school? Why start a family?

There is always the sliver of hope that remains but would that be strong enough to hold society together?

Searching for a Friend for the End of the World is probably the best movie or show on this topic. But basically, if the world knew it would be complete chaos before Giant Meteor came down to take the oath of office, at least in the cities. Just take a look at how Katrina played out for a good example.
