I've always thought sargons style is overly affected and self important. He's just sort of gross and weirdly pretentious.
Honestly though, standing for an election raised him a notch in my opinion.
I don't get the hate, really. Could you not tell immediately that he's a douche?
I haven't listened to him much, mostly because of the douche thing. When I have though I had no real objection to the content of his speech, only the manner of it. Which isn't a very strong objection. It's stylistic.
