I know there are a lot of Big Wreck fans on this board. Ian's putting out another solo album this month, however it's from a different approach. A lot of acoustic and final productions of his early demos.

Album released today. Holy shit this guy is too talented. Definitely a curve ball to his usual stuff. Very laid back, acoustic, folkish, and melodic. Highlights are "Stop and Think", "Fool", "feel", and "All Along" which he wrote for his daughter. This type of talent is becoming more rare as time goes by.

How's the mix? I love me some Thornley but the production on his albums tends to be brickwalled to hell.
