Yeah, with no plans for a second season, and the way their TV plans change (this show wrapped filming in 2022), it's hard to say where things go from here, as Ironheart marked the end of Phase 5 of the MCU which had a very different path when this was conceived.
I'd love to see him in the background of most of the TV stuff, especially if they do a Midnight Suns / Defenders of some kind in the TV properties while FF / X-Men / Avengers drive the movies. They already ganked his role in reshaping Spider-Man's life in some form in Dr. Strange 2. Wouldn't be a stretch to say it was Mephisto's magic / influence that was leveraged for that change and bring him into Spider-Man Brand New Day.
A lot of what they did in this show would have leaned into stuff like the Strange Academy show they cancelled. Those are comics I'm not as familiar with, but I liked how there were other magic users in this.
