Watched it tonight. The cast and writing is A+. Taylor Sheridan really did sell his soul to the devil.

Billy Bob can carry a show but in this case he doesn't need to.

Holy shit Sheridan using name actors as throwaways he kills is crazy. Did not see the Meskins getting torched like that

I spent 4 months building a pool in a neighborhood where some of this was filmed. Hollywood people are jerkoffs and act like their mere presence is the equivalent of POTUS arriving in town. That said, I grew up in the oil patch and have lots of childhood friends that have spent their careers in oil and gas so I'm intrigued. Texas Don Draper sounds pretty awesome.

We used to have episodes of the show Burn Notice filmed in the county I used to live in. Can confirm Hollywood types are total douchebags.

Gotham and about 10 other shows constantly had me moving my car to shoot on my street in brooklyn back in 2016.

After a while I told them to get fucked and try and tow my car. Production assistants are aids.

Good show, depicts the business well. Billy Bob is awesome. Tons of my O&G buddies refuse to watch it though out of fear it will varnish the true nature of O&G, but I don't even care.

Been looking forward to this one, and it didn't disappoint. So many well played characters in these first two episodes.

BBT one liners are 10/10, effortless. His face after learning about his daughter's agreement with her boyfriend was laugh out loud funny.

BBT is another actor like Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. They basically play the same character in every role, but they are usually amazing when doing it.
