The Dodgers continued to ruin baseball, and went back to back Champions in one of the more memorable Series in recent memory. A Series that I think a lot of us thought the '24 one should have more closely resembled.
We start off 2026 with Tatsuya Imai signing on to The Astros, as earlier reported by
What surprises will 2026 bring? Do the Dodgers win again? Will we see an unexpected team come out of nowhere to win it all? Will the 2027 CBA be solved before year's end? We shall wait and see.
So, I mentioned last year about the passing of my grandmother before the postseason could even begin. It was rough at times watching this Series without her. Her favorite player, Smith hit the go-ahead homerun that won it all for The Dodgers. I truly want to believe that baseball is a magical game where everything happens for a reason, despite how small we are in God's universe.
In the meantime, I watched Game 2 with my brother and his family. That was a blast. My nephews are probably too young to appreciate what was going on. Even though I will never have children, I know I can someday pass on my knowledge and love of this game(if not baseball caps) to them someday, such is the beauty of Baseball.
I love and miss you Abuelita. Even still, The Dodgers are the Series Champions again and everything is right in the world.
