A planet of easily controlled pacifists seems like an easy win for an AI.

The premise is kind of dumb though. If you can terraform the moon you could fix Earth.

No way - the biggest barrier to 'fixing' Earth is other people. Step 1 would be fighting a war over what 'fix' means.

The first episode of this was pretty boring, although it picked up a bit in the last 10 minutes. Not sure if I'd continue.

Ok watched the first episode. It wasn’t very good, concept is weird…terraform a part of the moon, put an AI in control of the humans there for 3 generations, comes up with technology to solve all of earths problem but shares nothing until one day it’s ready to send 100 people to teach earth humans about technology and shit. For 3 generations it developed tech but didn’t share. Why wait until 1 day and not share stuff as you discover it if it can help. None of the character seem very interesting.

That said the last 10 minutes or so had a few things happen that made me curious, so I’ll give episode 2 a look to see if it improves and see where they go from here.

After renewing "Moonhaven" for a second season in July and touting it as its most-watched exclusive series and second most-watched new series, AMC+ has reversed course and pulled the plug on the sci-fi show, reportedly as part of AMC Network's programming write-downs. These moves come after CEO Christina Spade stepped down, 20% of the company's U.S. staff was laid off and cost-cutting measures were announced.READ
