We need to reset the passwords of the accounts this weekend, it was supposed to happen last weekend but resource coordination prevented it. We would like to get this reviewed and approved so that the password reset team can reset the passwords by this weekend

You don't have a scripted method or tool that can batch reset passwords? Sounds like a job for a probably simplistic python script in most cases.
