Recently I yet again had the annoying experience of buying a game on sale from Steam, only to find out that I've already got a copy free from Epic or a Humble Bundle, etc. After some research I found Playnite, which is a universal game launcher that can manage all your libraries from the major services and game companies. So far it's working as advertised and seems like a good solution to the question of "WTF games do I actually own?"

Can’t you just add all non steam games to steam?

That only works if they're installed. This will list my entire collection of uninstalled games across all sources. Turns out I've got nearly 600 games, with 40+ duplicates across platforms (almost all free).

Edit: It can also do emulators and ROMs, GamePass, GeForce NOW, even MineCraft instances from MultiMC.

GOG Galaxy supports this too. It's what I currently use. Helps with some decisions. Like recently I owned the base Kingdom Come: Deliverance on GOG no none of the DLC. To get the DLC on GOG was going to be another $9 or so. Steam has it on sale for $3.99 all in so I bought it twice.

I'll check this playnite out though.
