Lineage looked great and started off ok but it's Korean grindfest to the max

No way to know yet. It's Korean, and Lineage 1 and 2 were two of the games that started the term "asian grinder". But this seems pretty different in a lot of ways. Hard to tell much from the trailers, but it looks like Eternal was like a diablo style topdown mmo and this iteration seems to be a hybrid of 3rd person/topdown. As long as there's no stupid cash shop shit looks like it'll be fun and different.

This is the result of NCSoft looking at Lost Ark and saying "we suck", so they ditched their in-development Lineage Eternal. That game was a nice looking Diablo-esque game with some a multiple character mechanic (you could swap between characters on the fly). Steparu had a lot of gameplay vids:

Guess we'll have to wait and see what NCSoft has done, but I'm think Lost Ark will still be the better game (of that style).
