I guess the major difference is I wasn't looking for "the" house I was just looking for "a" house since that is where my budgetary constraints put me. I was far more interested in volume over specific features.
But like I said I could easily see buying agents being a thing of the past. Maybe even listing agents. If you can just push a button on your smartphone app and make a fully vetted offer on a property (or list your property in a similar manner) I don't see why agents need to exist.
