8 part series on PBS and PBS.com covering modern music. Saw an episode the other night and was fascinated. Worth a watch if you're in to music documentaries.

Co-worker was just talking about this at lunch, none of us had even heard of it. Sounds really awesome though, hopefully it is On Demand or easily accessible through Exodus / similar.

I downloaded the first episode but haven't watched it yet. I love this kind of stuff. The documentary on Tom Dowd was one of the most enlightening documentaries I've ever seen. Same for Muscle Shoals. Those pasty white boys could groove the fuck out.
