Not necessarily just Space Marines, but take division/division 2 gameplay and skin it with Warhammer 40k and you could probably print money if you keep it true to Warhammer and not DEI it up.

I enjoyed 2 but it was pretty repetitive. I didn’t really get into the MP, tried it and it too was just kind of repetitive. I’m sure it would’ve been more fun with bros instead of PUGs. I wanted some things like being a gunner in a ship, controlling huge turrets, maybe a tank. Like when the mech came to help out and was blasting shit, would have been much more fun if you could pilot it. It did have some incredible scenes and was fun, just not really something I could keep playing. I was actually glad the story was fairly short cause I was getting kind of bored near the end.

If I could I would crusade you so hard that 'for the emperor' would actually physically manifest in the air as an onomatopoeia to describe the violence I was inflicting on you.

Idk what you guys are mad about, mech warriors are badass in warhammer. There are massive mechs too, like voltron sized.

Well a dreadnaught is more of a awful torture, where it's basically a combo coma machine/ ICU for a mortally wounded marine who may just be a brain and some lungs. Typically go crazy after a few hundred years. Dudes dont just pop in and out and go for a spin.

Cannon battery? I'd love a tank simulator in 40k, but ship gunner? I think it'd just be mocked like every other fps that has some brief 2 minute dumb turret event where it's just mind numbingly win mode hosing stuff down before moving on. Ideally you are at or near max difficulty treating it a little closer to some of the masochistic asian action games than just a call of duty.

But what male isn't a already at least passingly familiar with 40k lore, like *the* best male fantasy sci fi setting. I still want to be a spez marine when I grow up.

Yeah, I know the dreads are a living thing, it should’ve just switched view to it and let you pilot it while your characters were running around. With tank and ship gunner and turrets, I just wanted some variety is all, Gears of War did that shit and I loved it. Still a good game and I would have enjoyed it more overall if I would have picked it up in the beginning and played with some of you guys instead of waiting for a sale.

Yea, I feel the same. I just picked up SM2 during this Steam sale and already powered through the campaign. It would have been fun to play with others. Kinda sucked getting to the MP stuff realizing I have to build all the characters individually and finishing the campaign didn't go towards that progress. Definitely would have been a better experience at release while the game was still fresh for everyone. Still a fun game to experience but it didn't hold my attention like I thought it would.

The way you phrased it made it sound like you wished Titus could have hopped in and stomped around.

I agree that playing as the dreadnought would have been pretty sweet even if it was only for a short section. God knows it couldn't be a bigger disappointment than the dreadnought in Chaos Gate.
