The plot:
looks basically like a kids show spin on Star Trek Voyager.
didn't watch the acolyte, probably not gonna watch this since kid actors are 99% annoying especially in star wars. might be good for kids though in between sessions of drag queens readings of the Communist Manifesto

They keep making the same dumb mistakes. Kids don't want to pretend to be different kids, they want to have normal adult role models and heroes to aspire to be like. No one is like 'man I wish I could be like Bloomawg Bluupnog the small blue child who has things' they want to be like Luke Skywalker. Well at least they used to want that.

i believe its like Star Trek Voyager where this cast gets into a ship that gets thrown to a different galaxy and they have to figure out a way back, so probably no cameos from the usual cameo crew - Mando, Ahsoka, Boba, Empire, Jabba, Glup Shitto, etc

They are promoting it as Goonies with Star Wars paint. Its a not a bad plan, kids eat up watching kids go on fun, exciting and at times scary adventures. Elephant kid could be a marketing toy boon, and Jude Law is an excellent actor. Its atleast a different angle, and no I dont think Boba Fett will be in it lol.

I expect this to tie into Peridea where Sabine and Ahsoka are currently. There could be a lot of new story to tell in that galaxy, but I don't think it will dig into the Mortis gods part of that story that Baylan was pursuing. This could just be the way to get Ahsoka and Sabine back into the main galaxy.
