Synthetik - Bullet Hell COOP

Picked this up, wouldn’t call it a bullet hell game as I hate those. Really fucking cool though and looking for some co-op goodness. So far I like the Specialist and the Guardian(?) the first class at the top, his HP potential is insane.

I found a railgun that shot through walls. Then I died on a boss because my buddy didn't know he could heal us.

I've been looking for a new online (not couch) co-op game and floated this out to my buddy. He's unfortunately currently unemployed and won't buy Remnant now that the sale has passed the cheap cunt. I suppose I could buy it for him but I am also the cheap c-bomb lol.

I am intrigued by this!

Edit - Also Sseth's reviews are hilarious. The one about the online space station game had me in tears. He grafted pizzas as arms and legs on a willing patient.

Been looking at coop games lately, and this is on the radar for sure.

There's a free version if you want to try it out first. It's called Synthetik: Arena. Basically a demo.

Interesting game, really addicting. Playing commando and i keep dying after the second boss.

I picked this up on Tuesday and co-op played with my buddy last night. It starts pretty slow - at the beginning we were dying on the second level, occasionally making it to the third.

But by the end of the session we had cleared 4 bosses (20 levels) and died to a mass of elite enemies while wailing away with max upgraded weapons.

The genre doesn't have a ton of play longevity to me, but I will definitely get my money's worth out of it. We won't level up every class to max and try to find every weapon and gear but it certainly is fun to play and a really good balance of difficulty and progression.

I will say that I am disappoint that there is a fucking DLC already.

Edit - I wonder if they didn't give Szeth some incentives to review ($$) because an in-game billboard says "hey hey people". And his videos really do boost indie sales.
